Mr. Griffis is a candidate for the nomination for the office of President of the United States for the Libertarian Party.

He is 47 and lives in Oakland, California and is a proud father of a 9 year old son and a 12 year old daughter.

​He was valedictorian of his high school class and attended the University of Virginia where he graduated with high distinction with a BS in Systems and Information Engineering. He graduated with highest distinction from Stanford University with an MS in Engineering-Economic Systems (now called Decision Sciences). 

 

He has 10 years professional experience in consumer finance as a consultant, executive and information technology expert. He has over 10 years experience as a small business owner of the largest wholesale / retail flower business in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.
